Vengeance Is Mine!

It's finally coming!!! The 3rd in the trilogy of vengeance by Park Chan Wook (after Sympathy for Mr Vengeance and Oldboy). Nicknamed Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, the Korean title literally means Kind Miss Geumja. That's Lee Young Ae, by the way, who's gaining popularity across Asia for her role in the series Jewel In The Palace (Dae Jang Geum).

Heartache

Back when I was young... many moons ago, I used to write stupid cliched poetry to reflect how I felt. In a way, it help me ease the pain that I had felt in some instances. Here's an example...

Come…
Into the darkness of the night
Into the centre of your soul
Where the demons show their might
With the light nowhere in sight

Come…
So the hatred grips your heart
And your spirit turns to ash
Strike your foes and strike them hard
Make the malice play its part

Come…
Into the rivers of despair
Into everlasting doom
Live your life and show no care
Come I tell you, if you dare!

Lately, my mood has been oppressive and I felt like looking back at this poem once more...

Vertu at Cilantro

Courtesy of a good buddy and Swiss Union, was invited to the launch of the premium handset in Malaysia in partnership with Swiss Union... wow what a dinner! Fine food (salmon, fois gras, lovely dessert), superb wine, beautiful women and excellent company filled the evening (at Cilantro). The phones themselves are amazing in hand... heavy and tangible - they have gold, rubies and platinum with a sapphire display. Not technical marvels (some models don't even have MMS), most of them are bought as political gifts ^_^ The cost? RM18k for the cheapest... going to RM29k for the gold one and RM100k for the platinum one.

Of course you can't leave out the tomatos, cucumber and lettuce!

And down it all with Hoegaarden... burp!

Zeta Legs

Another 2 nights and what we get is a pair of legs...

The 1/60 scale of the Perfect Grade is not only amazing in detail but also in size. Here you see the leg dwarfing my 1/100 scale Master Grade Rick Dom... wow!

Citigold is gold...

I believe Citigold Restaurant at BTS is one of the best HK styled coffee shops around. It has a damn good ham nissin noodle (make sure you ask for chilli padi)...

Couple that with luncheon meat and egg sandwich... yum! They do the bread here nicely steamed with a big fat slab of omelette and luncheon meat. Very nice indeed!
