Onitsuka Tiger Is In Town!

I began a funny relationship with this Asics brand of shoes a few years back. Loving many things retro, I was sure that I would like the shoes when I first heard of it. Malaysia didn't have them yet.

I saw them for the first time in Seoul. I was fascinated but the prices were high and the actual model I wanted was out of the reach of my budget. I saw them again in Zurich's Bahnhofstrasse but this time, I didn't find a model that I liked.

Lo and behold, today, I saw them for the first time in Malaysia... one of the stores here decided to bring in some pairs to test the market.

To cut the story short, I came home with these...
