Fulfilling Photomarathonasia
It was a long and tiring Sunday for Photomarathon Asia (the Malaysian edition). 9 hours of shooting and a few more of waiting for the results. The skies were brilliant but the sun was unrelenting! There were 3 themes for the day; Malaysia Leads, Lunch Break and Abandoned Lot. I am tired but also glad I won a Merit prize for the 3rd theme.
The photo that won me the prize...

The poor soul was passed out on the street and I wanted to take a shot of him while preserving his dignity but not showing his face. Also needed to show an aspect of someone abandoned by society in an unmistakable environment. The person was passed out. Incapacitated.
