The news is out... Old Boy won the Grand Prix at the Cannes Film Festival

Mango Fish

I didn't realize how easy it is to cook thai style mango fish until today... just get any fresh firm fleshed fish which is marinated in salt and pepper... coat it with cornflour and deep fry...

For the mango sauce/salad... just slice up some green mango and some bird's eye chilli. Put in a mixing bowl. Drizzle lime juice, sugar and fish sauce onto the mango and toss... place it on the fish just before serving... yum!

Prince Hotel...

Another late night out in town. This time, Yen and I had some light supper at Taishojin at Prince Hotel and then we went to the mezzanine lounge for some drinks with Pei Tze, Adeline, Denzil, Rachel, Angie and some of Denzil's colleagues from Alcatel. They also brought along a nice Korean girl named Kim. It was a nice pleasant evening...

*makes mental note to go back to Prince Hotel's lounge...*

I have fond memories of Prince Hotel since my Korean friends stayed there the last time they were around and we had such fun... sigh...

Ugh... hang over...

Friday night out!

Very full from dinner... cooked some teochew styled steam fish... a bit too salty. Must make a mental note to cut down on salt and assam boi next time round. Anyway, off to shower to prepare for a night at Passion. Hope the place isn't too packed... I hate crowds.

On another note, my DVDs have yet to arrive :(

Gotta wake up early tomorrow to check the mailbox or camp out waiting for the arrival of the postman! ;)

Wow... Spirits Of Jeet Kune Do is indeed a very good movie! I must admit I had shivers towards the climatic scenes of the movie.

Stressed!

God, it's been a taxing past few days for me (muscles are sore and stiff)... glad to see that the weekend is close by. I can't wait for my DVDs to arrive from Korea.

As for tonight, I'm not sure what's for dinner yet but rest assured, it's gonna be a dessert of another couple of Korean movies - I'm gonna finish up Spirits Of Jeet Kune Do aka Once Upon A Time In High School (Maljuk-geori janhoksa).



... and probably complement that with some good old Hikaru no Go.
