Seiko resistance is futile...

After seeing it on the Seiko/Citizen forum and seeing it in the flesh, I simply could not resist this RM400 gem. This is the Seiko SNKF07K. The piece is quite hard to find in KL and some places are charging really high prices for it. There's also a blue version on a well made bracelet.

The Iconic Casio G-Shock Mudman G9000-1V

In reference to an earlier post, I got a great low offer for the price of this one so I grabbed it without much thought (though I was earlier looking at the Toyota 4x4 LE version). Nevertheless, this Mudman is most representative of all that's tough in a G-Shock. It also has 200 water resistance and mud resistance. Possible the 2nd most famous and sought after G-Shock after the Frogman.

Mazda Makes Watches...

Well they don't really make them. But they're doing a collaboration with famed German watchmakers, Sinn; this being their 3rd collaboration!

Goodbye To Seiko

Well not really a true goodbye. Just wanted to cut down my collection and sell off a couple of precious and wonderful Seikos since I seldom wear them. Managed to get a decent price for them as they were in immaculate condition. Bye bye for now!

Old Is Gold - Granny's Watch

Just to share some photos of my grandmother's old watch. I got it back from a local watchsmith. The old movement was in pretty bad shape but luckily the guy found the exact same movement (with slightly different finishing) in great shape to replace the original one. He also cleaned up the watch a bit.

I don't know much about Galco except that it was a brand under Gallet and probably came to Malaysia via the Japanese. I'm sure the watch is not worth much on the market but as with all family heirlooms, they are infinite in sentimental value.
